Unfortunately, due to a lack of qualified water safety instructors, the swim program was not able to be offered this summer. There are a lot of broken hearts out there in folks who learned to swim at the lake. Anyone who’s planning on being on the lake in 2026 and might be able to contribute two weeks as an instructor are requested to contact the Strong town office. If you’re looking for something interesting to do in the off months, UM Farmington offers both lifesaving and WSI courses at their pool. Get Involved!
